If you have tried agencies and tools and still cannot say what is working, start with an audit. We review your website, search results, Google Business Profile, ads, tracking and lead handling, then give you a short, ranked written plan and walk you through it on a call. It is a digital marketing audit for Canadian businesses that want clear answers before spending more.

How it works

  1. 1

    Free first call

We spend 30 minutes on your business, goals and what you have already tried, and agree what the audit covers.

  2. 2

    Get access

You give us view-only access to your accounts, so nothing is changed and you stay the owner of everything.

  3. 3

    Review

Over one to two weeks we check your website, search and Maps, ads, tracking and how enquiries are handled.

  4. 4

    Written plan

You receive a short, ranked list of fixes in plain language, with the reasoning behind each one.

  5. 5

    Walkthrough call

We go through it together and answer questions. You decide whether to run the plan yourself or hand parts of it to us.

What is a digital marketing audit and what does it cover in Canada?

A digital marketing audit is a structured review of everything customers see and touch before they contact you, plus the numbers that show whether it is working. The aim is a short list of fixes in priority order, not a long report nobody reads.

We look at the website, search and Maps visibility, ad accounts, tracking and lead handling together, because problems often sit between them. For example, ads can look fine until you discover the form does not record where the lead came from.

It suits business owners who are about to hire an agency, change agencies, increase ad spend or rebuild a website and want a neutral view first. It also suits anyone who inherited marketing accounts from a former employee and does not know what is inside them.

What do we check in the audit, step by step?

The audit has six parts, and you get a written note on each one.

  • Website: speed on a phone, clarity of the message, and how easy it is to enquire
  • Search and Maps: where you appear for the searches customers make, your Google Business Profile, and where competitors beat you
  • Ad accounts: Google, Microsoft, Meta or LinkedIn structure, wasted spend and missed opportunities
  • Tracking: whether Google Analytics 4, Search Console and call tracking can be trusted
  • Lead handling: how fast enquiries are answered and where they are lost
  • Written plan: a ranked list of fixes with a walkthrough call

Each part ends with what to fix first and roughly how big the job is, so you are never left with findings and no next step. Where we spot privacy or consent gaps, such as forms that collect more than they should, we flag them for your own advisor to confirm.

How much does a marketing audit cost in Canada?

An audit is a fixed-scope project, so you get a written quote after a free 30-minute call and the price does not change. It depends mainly on how many channels and accounts we need to review.

  • A website and local search review is the lightest scope
  • Adding ad accounts and tracking increases the scope
  • Multiple locations or several websites are quoted by number

You are not committing to anything beyond the audit, and ad accounts stay in your name with you paying the platforms directly.

If you later decide to act on the plan with us, the work is quoted separately and fixed in the same way, so each step has a clear price before it starts.

How long does an audit take and what will we get at the end?

Audits take one to two weeks from the time we have access to your accounts. You get a short written plan and a walkthrough call.

The plan ranks fixes by how much they matter and how hard they are to do, so you can see what to do this month and what can wait. It includes plain-language notes on what we found, why it matters and who could do the fix, whether that is you, your web developer or us. If part of it fits our website, search or ads work, we will say so, but the plan is yours either way.

What results can we expect from an audit, honestly?

An audit by itself does not change your results. It tells you what to change, and the results come from doing the work, which can take weeks for quick fixes and three to six months for search rankings.

Some fixes help sooner, like cleaning up a Google Business Profile or stopping ad spend that goes nowhere. We will not promise a specific outcome, and we will not invent a number to make the plan sound better. If the honest answer is that your marketing is mostly fine and one thing is holding it back, we will say that. For a wider view, see our guide on choosing a digital marketing agency in Canada.

Do we have to hire the agency after the audit?

No. The written plan is yours to use however you like, including giving it to your own team or another agency.

Many businesses start with an audit because they have been burned by vague reports before. We would rather earn the next project by being clear and useful, and if you want help, we can talk about it on a free call. Everything we reviewed stays in your accounts, and we never keep your data.

What changes for you

  • A clear picture of what's working
  • A ranked list of fixes
  • A plan you can run yourself or hand to us

A good fit if…

You've had several agencies or lots of tools, and still no clear picture.

Questions about marketing audits

Do you need to change anything in our accounts?

No. We ask for view-only access, and we make no changes during the audit.

Is the first call really free?

Yes. The first 30-minute call is free, and the audit is quoted as a fixed price afterwards.

Can you audit a business with more than one location?

Yes. Locations are scoped and quoted by number, so you know the price in advance.

Do you review French or bilingual websites?

Yes, where your customers need French. We check that it reads properly and is easy to find.

What if our tracking is broken?

We will show you exactly what is not recording and how to fix it, since trusting your numbers is the base for every other decision.

Will the audit cover AI search answers?

We look at whether your business is easy for AI assistants to find and describe, alongside regular search. See our AEO guide.

Do you use AI for the audit?

AI tools help with research and drafting, and a person on our team reviews everything before you see it.

How soon can fixes start?

Small fixes can often begin right after the walkthrough call, and larger ones are scheduled in the plan.
